November Themes Of Thankfulness
November

No green grass

No blue sky

No bare feet going by

No birds

No bees

No leaves on trees

November

No in November

There’s a “no” in November,

Perhaps you didn’t notice.

There’s a “yes” in yesterday,

Yes sounds so much better.

N.E.

We are Thankful

We are thankful,

In our work and play.

We are thankful,

On Thanksgiving Day!

traditional

November is Here

November is here

Tis that time of year;

After harvest is done—

Thanksgiving will come.

The Turkey is a Funny Bird

The turkey is a funny bird.

His head goes bobble, bobble,

And all he says is just one word—

Gobble, gobble

gobble!

traditional

Sing You Way Home

Sing your way home at the end of the day.

Sing your way home, drive the shadows away.

Smile every mile, for wherever you roam.

It will brighten your road.

It will lighten your load,

If you sing your way home.

Thank

(Tune: Drunken’ Sailor)

T-h-a-n-k

T-h-a-n-k

I can spell thank you!

N.E.

Thank You

I say “thank you” to my Mom.

I say “thank you” to my Dad.

I say “thank you” to my friends.

Now we all feel glad.

November

The month is now November.

The air is turning cold.

The leaves are changing colors—

From green to red and gold.

N.E.

Day is Done

Day is done,

Gone the sun—

From the earth,

From the hills,

From the sky.

All is well,

Safely rest.

God is nigh.

Pilgrims

When the pilgrims landed

So many years ago,

The Indians helped

them to survive

By planting corn—you know.
