Meeting the Challenge of High Common Core State Standards: Early Literacy Webinars
Appropriate for Literacy Coaches, PreK-1, Reading, Special Education, and ELL teachers
We are developing a series of quality, on-demand web seminars featuring “Best Practices” in Joyful, Accelerated Kindergarten and Early Literacy. These engaging and practical webinars demonstrate how to reach high Common Core State Standards and include video clips from actual classrooms.
Each fifty-minute webinar topic features our action-research from exemplary kindergarten classrooms and includes a detailed, full-color, professional e-Book. These twenty- to thirty- page e-books will follow the seminar research and practical strategies with detailed page-by-page content. The webinars will be presented by Nellie Edge with vignettes from her colleagues and, for an additional fee, are available for professional development credits to the designated university with a follow-up practicum project. More details will be available spring 2012. Subscribe to our Newsletter for announcements.
For those of you who are not able to fly out to Oregon and join us live, web seminars are the next best thing.
