Consider going to your local quick print shop (Copy Max, Kinko’s, etc.) and requesting that they enlarge the 8 ½ x 11 Twinkle, Twinkle, Little Star Little Books and I Have A Cat (Yo Tengo Un Gato) onto an 11 x 17 page.  It enlarges 129% and leaves a 2-inch border which needs to be cut off.  They cost $.16 each.  For a class of 20 that would be only $3.20 for a set of the enlarged Little Books.  Some teachers print enlarged Little Books in sturdy paper and use them as a part of their leveled guided reading sets.

Reduce any Read and Sing Little Book and create little mini books.  If you get used to the “reducer button” on your school photocopier you can reduce the

8 ½ x 11 master by 65% and 74% again.  This creates charming mini books for children to read to stuffed animals and dolls.
